NATO Secretary General to visit Poland The Secretary General of NATO, Dr. Javier Solana, will visit Poland on Thursday and Friday, 22-23 January 1998. He will meet the President, Mr. Aleksander Kwasniewski, the Prime Minister, Mr. Jerzy Buzek, and the speakers of the Sejm and the Senate. MEDIA ADVISORY Thursday, 22 January AM Arrival in Warsaw. 10:30 Chancellory of the President of the Council of Ministers. Official welcoming ceremony, followed by meeting with the Prime Minister, Mr. Jerzy Buzek. Point de presse in Paintings Room at 11:45. 12:10 Presidential Palace. Order of Merit I Class award ceremony. Point de presse at 12:45, followed by lunch hosted by President Aleksander Kwasniewski. 14:45 Parliament.
