Military Installations • View articles, photos, major unit listings and contacts for programs and services worldwide. Enter USCG and you will see the units available. While on the site check out 'Plan My Move' which will walk you through the moving process with checklist and calendars. If there is no USCG installation just search for any service installation close to you.
Military.com has recently added a relocation resource to assist active duty, veteran, and retired military personnel with their moves. The free resource includes a broad range of relocation information including DITY checklists, information on pet transportation, PCS processes, shipping procedures, and more. Operation Military Move is a free service provided to relocating military families. They will provide you with a packet of information on your destination of interest, including community profiles, demographics, schools, etc.
State Information. Get local listings: weather, local sports scores, yellow pages, white pages, maps, classifieds, message boards, chat, movie listings, and web sites in the area where you are moving or considering.
