Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling family housing is available at three primary locations: Bellevue Housing, Washington DC; Bolling Family Housing Washington DC; Woodbridge Run Housing, Virginia. The waiting list for housing varies, but an average wait could extend up to six months. Housing may also be available at other military installations in this area. Depending on where you live, where your command is located, and the time of day you report to work, you are likely to encounter a lengthy commute in the Washington area. It is not unusual to spend 45-90 minutes one-way if your commute includes rush hour on any of the major arteries in the area.
