Overview
The NASA-funded Scatterometer Climate Record Pathfinder (SCP) generated a comprehensive suite of processed scatterometer imagery to support climate studies. NSIDC collaborated with Brigham Young University (BYU) and the Physical Oceanography DAAC (PO.DAAC) to develop integrated active/passive microwave sensor products. Products created by the collaboration include sea ice motion, melt onset/freeze over sea ice, sea ice type and extent, and Greenland accumulation and melt.
