STAFF ANNOUNCEMENT--Chief of Foreign Trade Division

The FTD is pleased to announce the selection of Mr. Nick Orsini as Chief of the Foreign Trade Division effective March 28, 2010.

Nick began his career at the U.S. Census Bureau in the Foreign Trade Division in 1988. He most recently served as Assistant Division Chief for Trade Analysis and Dissemination where he was responsible for directing the production of the U.S. International Trade in Goods and Services report, one of the United States’ principal economic indicators. He was also responsible for overseeing the processing results of millions of import and export transactions each month, developing several innovative data products, and collaborating with other public and private organizations on mutually beneficial projects.
