Anchorage Fish & Wildlife Field Office
Established in the early 1970s, our office works to recover endangered species; assess and conserve native fish and wildlife populations and their habitat; inform fisheries management; inventory and clean up environmental contaminants; and coordinate with other Federal agencies to minimize the adverse effects of land and wateruses on fish and wildlife resources in an area that stretches from the Copper River Delta east of Cordova, north to the Alaska Range, and west through central and western Alaska, including the Yukon-Kuskokwim Delta, Bristol Bay and Aleutian Islands
