Section 743 of Division C of the FY 2010 Consolidated Appropriations Act, P.L. 111-117 requires civilian agencies subject to the Federal Activities Inventory Reform Act of 1998 (Public Law 105-270; 31 U.S.C. 501) to prepare an annual inventory of their service contracts.  The Office of Management & Budget (OMB) issued the original guidance on November 5, 2010, and additional guidance on December 19, 2011, to agencies on developing and analyzing service contract inventories.  Department of Veterans Affairs service contract inventories meet all OMB requirements on data elements and structure.  As per the guidance reference above, a FY 2010 Service Contract Inventory Analysis/Executive Summary, the FY 2011 Service Contract Inventory, and a FY 2011 planned analysis document are provided for public disclosure.
