Other Useful Information

This is a schedule of the total number of directives at the beginning of each fiscal year beginning with FY2003. The table portrays the fluctuations in directives across time, ending with the change during the current fiscal year. Also included are the number of directives by the Office of Primary Interest (OPI) and the total number of directives with CRDs.  Look for updates at the beginning of the month.

On November 4, 2010, the Directives Review Board (DRB) approved the removal of nonessential dates from the title pages of directives.  The intent is to remove confusing dates that imply that a directive actually "expires" at some date certain. These include dates such as Review, Expires, Sunset Review, among others.  Version issue dates, i.e., dates requiring signature approval, are not impacted by this change. All of these directives remain valid, approved directives.

MA-90 is coordinating a review of directives which are 4 or more years old as of 6-30-2010 for either certification, revision or cancellation as required by DOE O 251.1C. Attached is the list of those directives with the OPIs' plan of action. HS directives are subject to a separate review and are not included here.
