Actinide Separations Conference

Renaissance Charlotte SouthPark Hotel, Charlotte, NC

May 23 – 26, 2011

The Actinide Separations Conference is held annually to provide a forum for scientists and engineers to present and discuss the results from research activities, operating experiences, and other matters of common interest associated with actinide chemistry and processing. Conference topics typically include solvent extraction, ion exchange, pyrochemical processing, processing of unique materials, and analytical techniques. Opportunities for both oral and poster presentations are provided.

The conference draws its primary audience from DOE national laboratories, research universities, and industry. Participants from the international community are also encouraged to attend. The interactions among the participants support the continued advancement of actinide chemistry and will play an important role in the future of the nuclear fuel cycle, nuclear medicine, and nuclear nonproliferation activities. The conference also provides a forum for students to develop the skills needed to become future leaders in the field.

Registration and Abstract Submissions Will Open February 15, 2011.
