Online Databases

The following databases are available on line:

National Exotic Marine and Estuarine Species Information System (NEMESIS):
A resource for information on non-native (or exotic) species that occur in coastal marine waters of the United States.

National Ballast Information Clearinghouse Database:
Ballast water information is available from all reporting ships that arrived to U.S. ports between 01 July 1999 and 30 June 2001. We anticipate including more recent data in the coming weeks. Eventually data will be made available within two weeks of a ship's arrival.

Aquatic Invasions Research Directory:
An Internet-based, searchable database containing up to the minute information on people, research, technology, policy and management issues relevant to aquatic invasions.

SERC Data Table of Contents:
The SERC Data Table of Contents (DTOC) contains basic metadata on a selection of longterm data files and data sets collected by SERC researchers.

Selected Longterm Data:
A selection of SERC's longterm research data is available for immediate access and download by other researchers and the public at large.
