While on a deployment, Marines face stress in all aspects of their day-to-day lives. To counteract these stresses, Marines go to the gym, watch movies, read books and talk to friends and family back home. Some Marines, however, turn to the simple comforts of music to find their peace of mind.

Meet three Marines who pursue their love of music no matter where the Marine Corps takes them.

In boot camp I thought I’d never get to sit behind a drum kit again, but two years later my chaplain sends me to the music store with a check that someone donated to pick up a kit for the chapel. Good memories – music helped me relax too.
