An IAM spokesman at the time alleged Boeing told employees that if they decertified the union Charleston would be selected for the second line, a claim Boeing denies. Whether it was organized by official elements or not, there was a whisper campaign that was well understood to be driving a lot of the arguments around the vo

I had to choose between Cuomo and Paladino last night. The choice was between someone insane and corrupt, or someone just corrupt. So finally I wasted my vote on a third party. It was like trying to choose between a giant douche and a turd sandwhich (south park).

It takes more than 2 years to change government, only an idiot would think otherwise. Obama is great president together we will bring jobs back to america and stop sending them over seas like all the fat cat businessman want to do. profit has the upper hand on humanity.

@Paul - First poster The real estate bubble was caused in Sept 1999. See article here: http://www.nytimes.com/1999/09/30/business/fannie-mae-eases-credit-to-aid-mortgage-lending.html Now on to Reagan "starting wars in South America" People’s Revolutionary Army took control of Grenada, murdered their own people, including children—anyone who would not submit to the new government. They allied themselves with Cuba and built an heavy aircraft strip. They were a direct threat, not only to us but also to their own people. Something had to be done. Yes, innocents were killed during the invasion, but more would have been if it were left alone. You have to choose the lesser of two evils. So are you kidding me? Now on to the S&L Crisis: The source of the S&L Crisis is during the time of the 90th Congress (Dem) under LBJ, and afterward the 91st Congress (Dem)/ toppled off by the 95th Congress (Dem) Under the 90th Congress and LBJ: Truth in Lending Act 1968 Fannie Mae was chartered as a government sponsored enterprise. Under the 91st Congress: Economic Stabilization Act of 1970 Investment Company Amendments of 1970 And finally, under the 95th Congress: Bankruptcy Reform Act of 1978 If you want to pick out wars, pick out the farce Vietnam. The one we lost ;) Under both a Dem president and Dem congress. Our unemployment rate has done nothing but skyrocket since the Dems and Obama took control. They want to keep people poor. Poor=dependent on the Gov. which is what they want. http://www.miseryindex.us/urbymonth.asp Check your facts please. I am losing brain cells. *Additional sources* http://www.gov.gd/articles/revolution/march_13th_1979.html http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fannie_Mae http://www.miseryindex.us/urbymonth.asp http://www.senate.gov/pagelayout/history/one_item_and_teasers/partydiv.htm http://www.forbes.com/2004/07/20/cx_da_0720presidentstable.html

Hey Everyone, you know it is kind of Twilight Zonish how Repunks led our country into two wars for which they had no plan for, other than first month where they just dropped bombs from sky; then they decide to offer a tax cut to upper crust - forgetting that someone's got to pay for the war. The tax cut juices the economy creating a second financial crisis in the form of the real estate bubble. And, where is Osama? We had him trapped and we let him go… Why do I say deja vu, because same thing happened when we let another Repunk have 2 terms. Remember Reagan, starting wars in central america where our allies were Death Squads who mercilessly killed anyone they could, then we march into Grenada which is sold to us as a second coming of D-Day (by the way Reagan like all Repunk leaders rode out his chance warrior glory safely at home), then we get over 250 Marines killed in Lebanon who were there with no plan, and no idea as to what they were supposed to do there, and finally we get the S&L crisis, which resulted from deregulating the industry in 1986. The S&L crisis cost us about 2.6% of GDP. The S&L crisis was the same shell game played out in 2008’s banking crisis. I don’t know but is someone keeping score on all this? Basically Repunks like to create menacing enemies who supposedly threaten our lives, juice the economy and run deficits to look good. When S**T hits the fan they cry wolf and blame big government. When it’s them who ran the government when all the stuff happens - that’s my two cents. I am still scratching my head wondering how REPUNKS keep getting away with this.

@GoogleyEyed You didn't "comprehend" my point did you? The point is, like I mentioned before (and elaborated upon), is that people in this country only worry about the little things, for example, "OH MY GOD, HE CALLED HIM DUDE, LET'S IGNORE EVERYTHING ELSE".
