WINDSOR, Conn. -- More than $56 thousand* in federal aid is obligated to help Rhode Island communities recover from damage and destruction caused by severe storms and flooding in April, according to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security's Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).
WINDSOR, Conn. -- Rhode Island Emergency Management Agency and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) are holding an applicants briefing Thursday, June 7 in Portsmouth to explain federal funding available to help Newport County local governments and eligible nonprofits recover from mid-April storm damage. The briefing will be held at the Portsmouth Town Hall, 2200 East Main Street, at 11 a.m.
WINDSOR, Conn. -- Nonprofit organizations in Newport County that provide essential public services and with losses from the April 15 - 16 storms are invited to attend an applicant briefing in Portsmouth on Thursday to learn how to apply for federal disaster recovery grants.
