Captain Richard Weathers graduated from the United States Naval Academy in 1986 where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree. Following initial flight training in Pensacola, Fla., he was assigned to VAW-120 "Greyhawks" based in Norfolk, Va., and designated a Naval Flight Officer in May 1988.
Lieutenant Commander Jason L. Sparks Graduated from the University of Tennessee in 1996 where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree. In October 1997 he reported to Officer Candidate School in Pensacola, Fla. where he received his commission in Feb 1998 and completed Pre-flight Indoctrination in May.
Master Chief Toomer was born in Amarillo, Texas but raised and educated in “The Golden State,” California. Upon graduating high school 1984 in Citrus Heights, California he attended Basic Training followed by Engineman “A” School at Great Lakes, Illinois.
