Security Cooperation Studies (DISCS). This became effective 1 July 2016, and comes as DSCA more closely aligns
the schoolhouse, its curriculum, and its mission priorities with DOD strategic guidance, and DSCA's vision

2016 Curriculum Review
The 2016 DISCS Curriculum Review Minutes are now available online on the
Curriculum Review page.
New Green Book Version
DISCS is now using the 35th, March 2016 edition of The Management of Security Cooperation textbook. You will find the new
edition linked as "Green Book" under the Publications section in the links collection at the bottom of the screen. Or you can access
it from "Pubs & Other Resources" from the main menu above.
New Learning Guide
The Understanding the MAPAD learning guide is available for your use. This learning guide
is designed for personnel involved in the distribution and movement of materiel to international
partners through the DoD supply system. After completing this learning guide, you will have a better
understanding of this electronic database of addresses, and how to use it. It can be found under
the "Logistics" category in the Learning Guides section of "Online Learning/Learning Guides."
Mobile device compatible learning guides
DISCS is in the process of converting some of our learning guides to HTML5 format to better interface with
mobile devices. Mobile devices must have iOS version 8 (or higher) or Android OS version 4.4 Kit Kat (or above). The
following Internet browsers (and later versions) support HTML5: Internet Explorer 9; Safari 5.1; and Google
Chrome 17. Learning guides that are in the HTML5 format are Understanding the MAPAD and MILSTRIP for FMS, with more on the way.
