Memory web sites. The Music Division holds
the prints
and handles reference work related to
the collection, while the Prints and Photographs
Division preserves the negatives and color
transparencies.
Access: Subject to P&P policy on serving
originals, which requires the use of digital images in lieu of the
original negatives. The Library of Congress Music Division holds photographic prints.
Reproduction (photocopying, hand-held camera copying,
photoduplication and other forms of copying allowed by "fair
use"): Subject to P&P policy on copying, which prohibits service of the original
negatives.
