The 38 Soldier team services more than 150 vehicles, 2,400 weapons and is responsible for the calibration of all Nuclear, Biological, Chemical and electronic equipment for more than 1,500 Soldiers. Outside of maintenance, it also houses the Army’s only fully functional paint shop run by Soldiers.

The flag shop houses approximately 4,000 flags from every country, executive officer flags for all branches of service, and an assortment of uniforms from George Washington’s Continental Army to the present. Soldiers with the 3rd U.S. Infantry Regiment (The Old Guard), Continental Color Guard, carry the rifle, the American Flag and the Army Flag at Super Bowl XLV as part of the Armed Forces Color Guard.

The Continental Color Guard carries the American Flag, and the Army Flag at Super Bowl XLV. The Continental Color Guard displays the Colors in numerous parades and ceremonies throughout the year. The team has performed in such notable events as presidential inaugurals, and the Olympics.

The 3rd United States Infantry Regiment (The Old Guard) conducts a Department of the Army Retirement ceremony on January 27, 2011. The Ceremony was Charlie Company's first since returning from Iraq on August 29, 2010.
