As an employee of the National Weather Service, you have been given the public trust to design, perform, operate, maintain, or lead weather related services, equipment, and programs for the protection of life and property and the enhancement of the national economy to the best of your ability.
In order to serve effectively in this capacity, you must understand your role and be able to identify, communicate, and interact with other federal employees, partners, and customers. This course is designed to prepare you for this role by identifying the basic components involved.
