Sailors assigned to the weapons department aboard the aircraft carrier USS Enterprise (CVN 65) transport 1,000-pound bombs on the forward mess decks for transfer to the Military Sealift Command dry cargo and ammunition ship USNS Sacagawea (T-AKE 2). This is the last ammunition offload before returning to homeport. Enterprise is completing its final scheduled deployment to the U.S. 5th and 6th Fleet areas of responsibility in support of maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts. Although Sailors aboard USS John C. Stennis (CVN 74) won't be able to vote from home, they can rest assured knowing the Navy has taken all the appropriate steps to ensure their voices are heard for the upcoming presidential election.
