Highland Forest
An outdoor Upland Forest research area is a laboratory for testing equipment and activities in environmental conditions that approximate those of a upland forest. The goal is to replicate a broadleaf evergreen forest that is approximate to human settlement and has experienced disturbance due to human cultivation and harvesting of vegetation and other uses. The forest will include a waterfall, ponds and boulders.
