Use the Blue Button® Service Marks to connect to your patients and customers.

Across America, Blue Button® is the single most recognizable symbol pointing the way for patients and providers to download or transfer health data.

Whether you are a physician or hospital who wants to help patients download their clinical or discharge summaries and medication lists, a health plan which wants to help your members stay healthy, or a software developer who is building an application to help physicians exchange patient information with other physicians or hospitals – the Blue Button® Marks will help you connect.

You need a license to use the Blue Button® Marks and can get one here at no cost. Here is how:

1. Review the Terms of the License.
2. Apply for License

Once a license is issued, license documents will be sent to you via email. Licensees will be able to download Blue Button® Service Marks in formats which can be used online, in software and on printed materials. Licensed users can access a library of Marks by using the Resources link in the left navigation menu.

To update contact information on an existing license, use the Update Information link in the left navigation menu.
