Sector Columbia River Administration Department
and Servicing Personnel Office (SPO)
Coast Guard Sector Columbia River Administration department provides a variety of services and support functions for
Sector units as well as other local Coast Guard units.
Administration Office Services:
- Coordinates Household Goods moves with Fort Lewis transportation office (www.move.mil)
- Manages the Citibank travel charge card program for members
- Issues Military Identification (ID) cards for eligible active duty, reserve, and retired members
- Issues Coast Guard vehicle identification decals
- Servicing Personnel Office (SPO) manages personnel records for active duty and reserve members
Vehicle decals require current vehicle registration, proof of insurance, drivers license, and military ID card.
ID cards are by appointment only. Please call (503) 861-6300.
The ID card machine in Admin was upgraded with new software. With this software, we
are issuing the "next generation" ID cards. For more information about the "next generation" ID cards please visit the ID card office where reading material is available for your use.
With the new software we will need to see two forms of acceptable ID which will be scanned into your DEERS record. Without the two forms of ID, we will not be able to issue you an ID without further help from Headquarters.
Plan ahead:
- Call ahead for estimated wait times.
- Ask what paperwork you may need to bring with you (if anything).
- Arrive at least 30 minutes before our closing at 1600 hours to ensure being served.
- Tuesday through Thursday are typically the busiest days of the week for us
- The administration office and SPO are located in the building immediately in front of the flag pole next to the Medical building.
