How do you stay mentally prepared for going

Col. Timothy Kopra answers Karen Thermonfight from Cedar Park, Texas, who asks; "How do you stay mentally prepared for going into space when the launch can and does get scrubbed times repeatedly, it must take great mental discipline?"

Well you know, I don't think it takes great mental discipline. I think what it takes is patience and flexibility and those are things that I work on every single day. But I learn those largely from working in the Army and also from my space station training. So I would encourage any young person out there when they pursue their goals to always remain flexible and be persistent and achieve your goals one step at a time.
