Being selected to participate in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl is an honor reserved for only the Nation’s most exceptional high school football players, as only the strongest wear the Army colors. As a U.S. Army All-American, these young men join the ranks of gridiron greats including Adrian Peterson, Mark Sanchez, Tim Tebow, Andrew Luck, Marcus Lattimore, Robert Woods and many other college and NFL stars. These young Americans have earned their selection by displaying some of the very same characteristics found in every Army Strong Soldier, on and off the field.

Hatcher has been incredibly productive in his prep career, starting since his sophomore year and helping the Rocks to consecutive state titles. Hatcher shows a good initial burst when pass rushing, causing headaches for offensive linemen. Against the run, Hatcher uses his hands to disengage from blocks and . His value is increased even further by his versatility, as Hatcher can line up at either the strong-side or weak-side end positions. He is fundamentally sound and has a thick frame that should allow him to see playing time early in college.
