From his guard position, Mix helped the South Panola offense roll up more than 240 yards per game on the ground last season. He has also shown versatility by playing tackle at the varsity level. Mix is impressive with his balance, technique and his composure. His upper body strength is a positive in the run game, where he can shed blockers and reach the second level. Mix also has the arm length that will allow him to keep pass rushers at bay, especially from an interior guard slot.
