Two Teams. 90 Players. Unlimited Talent and Strength.

Being selected to participate in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl is an honor reserved for only the Nation’s most exceptional high school football players, as only the strongest wear the Army colors. As a U.S. Army All-American, these young men join the ranks of gridiron greats including Adrian Peterson, Mark Sanchez, Tim Tebow, Andrew Luck, Marcus Lattimore, Robert Woods and many other college and NFL stars. These young Americans have earned their selection by displaying some of the very same characteristics found in every Army Strong Soldier, on and off the field.

Get the details on each of this year’s U.S. Army All-Americans and what strengths they’ll bring to the U.S. Army All-American Bowl.

Mathis could play strong side end or possibly defensive tackle with his large upper body and long wingspan. However, what makes Mathis special is his  speed and agility, something that allows him to rush the edge in any scheme. Mathis often lines up at linebacker and has the ability to run with the area's best backs and receivers. He plays with an aggressive attitude, fearlessly taking on contact and displaying the strength to set the edge and still make plays in the backfield.
