These young Americans have earned their selection by displaying some of the very same characteristics found in every Army Strong Soldier, on and off the field.

Butt contributes in many ways at Pickerington North, playing defensive end and lining up at tight end, h-back and slot receiver on offense. As a receiver, he uses his big frame effectively, making him a prime target in red zone and jump ball situations. Butt shows reliable hands and is a good check-down target for the quarterback, getting up field quickly and picking up yards after the catch. Butt is effective as an in-line blocker, using his pad level and leg drive to open up holes for his running backs.
