Two Teams. 90 Players. Unlimited Talent and Strength.

Being selected to participate in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl is an honor reserved for only the Nation’s most exceptional high school football players, as only the strongest wear the Army colors. As a U.S. Army All-American, these young men join the ranks of gridiron greats including Adrian Peterson, Mark Sanchez, Tim Tebow, Andrew Luck, Marcus Lattimore, Robert Woods and many other college and NFL stars. These young Americans have earned their selection by displaying some of the very same characteristics found in every Army Strong Soldier, on and off the field.

Get the details on each of this year’s U.S. Army All-Americans and what strengths they’ll bring to the U.S. Army All-American Bowl.

Josh Banderas
Josh Banderas
Linebacker
6'2"
220 lbs
Committed to Nebraska
Southwest High School | Lincoln, NE

Banderas put his name on the recruiting map after a standout performance at last year’s U.S. Army National Combine. He shows exceptional speed for his size, a trait he must be able to maintain in order to stay at outside linebacker in college. He is equally adept at defending the run and pass, and has the athleticism to cover sideline-to-sideline. Banderas shows the ability to shed blockers and wrap up a ball carrier in run support, and can play well in space when defending the pass. As he gains a bit more bulk, Banderas could turn into an all-conference linebacker at the next level.
