SFOR ORGANISATION

• The total number of troops committed to SFOR is about 7,000. This includes about 50 in Croatia. Approximately 100 personnel are in the National Support Elements (NSEs).

• NATO nations contributing to SFOR:
Bulgaria, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Turkey, United Kingdom, United States

• Non-NATO nations contributing to SFOR:
Albania, Argentina, Austria, Chile, Morocco,Sweden.

• Nations contributing individuals by special arrangement with the United Kingdom:
Australia, New Zealand.

• NATO nations previously contributing to SFOR:
Belgium, Luxembourg.

• Non-NATO nations previously contributing to SFOR:
Estonia, Finland, Latvia, Lithuania, Russia.

Headquarters SFOR

• Located at Sarajevo.
• Headquarters SFOR has approximately 300 personnel.
• Most of the contributing nations have personnel in HQ SFOR.

Multinational Task Force North (MNTF-N)

• Headquarters MNTF-N is located at Tuzla.
• MNTF-N has approximately 1,800 personnel.
• The major contributing nations are:
Poland, Portugal, Slovenia, Sweden, Turkey, United States.

Multinational Task Force Southeast (MNTF-SE)

• Headquarters MNTF-SE is located at Mostar.
• MNTF-SE has approximately 1,800 personnel.
• The major contributing nations are:
Albania, France, Germany, Italy, Morocco, Spain.

Multinational Task Force Northwest (MNTF-NW)

• Headquarters MNTF-NW is located at Banja Luka.
• MNTF-NW has approximately 2,000 personnel.
• The major contributing nations are:
Bulgaria, Canada, The Netherlands, Romania, Slovakia, United Kingdom.

Theatre Troops

• There are approximately 1000 personnel in Theatre Troops.
• Theatre Troops are based at various locations in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
• The major contributing nations are:
Bulgaria, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Romania, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, United Kingdom, United States.
