Mission: The IT Department at NSA PC strives diligently to provide for the diverse technology and media needs of more than 200 users. There are three primary functions that comprise our efficient and attractive department - Base Communications Office, Spectrum Management Office, and Desktop/NMCI support.

Spectrum Management

Mission: The NSA PC Frequency Management provides support and coordinates/ authorizes or obtains authorization for all use of the electromagnetic spectrum within the NSA PC area of responsibility including the tenant activities located at the Naval Support Activity. This includes the analysis of frequency requirements, coordination of proposed frequency uses, resolution of interference, coordination of all Electronic Warfare (EW), Electronic Countermeasures (ECM), and Electronic Counter Countermeasures
(ECCM) uses, and support of the electromagnetic emitter equipment frequency allocation approval program of the Chief of Naval Operations (CNO).

Base Communications

Mission:Provide day-to-day operational support, management, guidance and acquisition, and technical support services for the operations, administration, and maintenance of Base Communications Offices (BCOs) within the Naval Support Activity Panama City, FL.
