NARUC operates several programs that serve our members by offering education, information, and communications resources on critical issues that State regulators face on a daily basis.
Grants & Research
NARUC's Grants & Research programs receive funding from several Federal agencies, including EPA, DOE, and Homeland Security. These programs provide opportunities for NARUC members to better participate and understand regulatory issues .
International Programs
NARUC's International Programs are largely funded in cooperation with the USAID. These programs provide information exchanges with energy regulators in Europe, Africa, Asia, and Latin America/Caribbean.
Federal Government Collaboratives
NARUC participates in several collaborative efforts with our federal counterparts - FERC and FCC. These programs cut across the energy and telecommunications regulatory landscape and are geared to ensuring that consumers are receiving the highest quality of service at fair, just and reasonable prices.
Nuclear Waste Program Office
NARUC has a Nuclear Waste Program Office to be involved in the difficult challenge of implementing the Nuclear Waste Policy Act as it relates to spent nuclear fuel from commercial nuclear reactors.
