Tight End
2004 All-American bowl
Desert Vista High School | AZ

- Miller was one of the premier tight end prospects in the country coming out of high school. He caught 46 balls for nearly 800 yards his senior season, and added seven touchdowns. He also played middle linebacker at Desert Vista, accounting for 146 tackles as a senior.

College: Arizona State University

- Miller started 35 games while at Arizona State, including all 12 as a true freshman, when he was named the Pac-10 Freshman of the Year. That same year, he broke the Arizona State record for most single-season receptions by a tight end with 56. In 2006, he earned the honor of being named a consensus All-American after putting together another dominant season.

NFL: Seattle Seahawks, Selected in the 2007 NFL Draft, 2nd Round, 38th Overall (Oakland Raiders)

- Since breaking into the league as a second-round pick in 2007, Miller was among the few bright spots on offense in Oakland. One year after becoming the first Raider tight end in 23 years to lead the team in receptions, Miller topped his 2008 total of 56 grabs with 66 catches for 805 yards in 2009. His yardage slipped slightly in 2010, but Miller found the end zone five times and secured his first Pro Bowl trip. The Seahawks took notice and signed him to a five-year deal this past summer.
