Since 2001, the U.S. Army All-American Bowl has showcased the nation's premier high school football talent. The level of play in these games has demanded the absolute highest levels of mental, emotional and physical strengths for those participating. The expansive and continually growing list of prominent alumni featured in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl's history stands as proof of this strength and the extraordinary level of competition. Some of the most notable All-American alumni include: Adrian Peterson, Mark Sanchez, Tim Tebow, 2012 #1 NFL Draft Pick Andrew Luck, Marcus Lattimore and Robert Woods among many more.
As of the start of NFL training camps, there are more than 200 U.S. Army All-American Bowl alumni on NFL rosters. During the 2012 NFL Draft, 22 U.S. Army All-Americans were selected, including six first round selections. An incredible total of 51 U.S. Army All-Americans have been selected in the past two NFL Drafts. More and more U.S. Army All-Americans enter the NFL each season as the Army All-American Bowl continues to produce some of the game’s brightest stars on its biggest stage.

- Spiller finished an impressive high school career with 5,511 yards, a 10.2 yards per carry average, and 93 total touchdowns (85 rushing). He was named a First-Team All-American by both Parade and USA Today his senior season, and earned All-State honors for the third consecutive year. He also was one of the top track athletes in the state of Florida.
College: Clemson University
- One of the top multi-purpose weapons in the game, Spiller left Clemson as one of only two players in college football history to record more than 3,000 rushing yards, 1,500 kickoff return yards, 1,000 receiving yards and 500 punt return yards in a career. Spiller’s career mark of seven kickoff-return touchdowns is an NCAA record. In 2009, Spiller was named ACC Player of the Year and was the only college player to score a touchdown in each of his team’s games. In 2008, Spiller earned First-Team All-ACC honors in the classroom and on the field.
NFL: Buffalo Bills, Selected in the 2010 NFL Draft, 1st Round, 9th Overall
- Spiller cracked the Buffalo running back rotation as a rookie, gaining 440 all-purpose yards. He was a bright spot on special teams, averaging 14.3 yards per punt return and returning a kickoff for a touchdown.
