Guides and Park Programs

appleArches National Park's Canyon Country Outdoor Education Field Trip Guide is available on-line. The guide contains over 100 science activities for children. (grades 1-6)

appleA 130-page geology curriculum, called "The Many Faces of Delaware Water Gap", is available from Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area. It includes curriculum-based field trips for five locations in the park in Pennsylvannia and New Jersey, as well as a 20 page introduction to general geologic topics for the park. Teachers are invited to contact the park for a free copy. (grades 3-6)
