Periodicals Archive Online Periodicals Archive Online makes the back files of periodicals in the humanities and social sciences available electronically, providing access to the full text of digitized periodicals. Currently, Periodicals Archive Online contains over 500 journals, providing access to over 12.5 million article pages - representing over 1.9 million articles. 
Project Muse Project Muse currently offers online access to over 200 journals from numerous scholarly publishers through paid institutional subscriptions. A subscription to a Muse journal is a subscription in the truest sense. As with a print subscription, nothing needs to be returned if an online subscription is canceled. Access to the journals is via IP authentication from any computer within the subscribed institutional network. No passwords are needed, and an institution need not hold a print subscription to the online journal. An institution may subscribe to selected journals, or select from several database package options offered at special prices. In addition, groups of institutions which subscribe and pay together may qualify for special rates as a consortium.

MLA International Bibliography A bibliography of journal articles, books and dissertations. Produced by the Modern Language Association, the electronic version of the bibliography dates back to 1963 and contains over 1.7 million citations from more than 4,400 journals and series and 1,000 book publishers. 
Oxford Art Online Provides access to the more than 23,000 subject entries, 21,000 biographies, 500,000 bibliographic citations, 40,000 image links and 5,000 images contained within Grove Art Online. 
Routledge Encyclopedia of Philosophy Online version of the Routledge Encyclopedia of Philosophy. Articles can be browsed alphabetically or topically or searched.

Civil War Newspapers This database contains the full text of major articles gleaned from over 2,500 issues of The New York Herald, The Charleston Mercury and the Richmond Enquirer, published between November 1, 1860 and April 15, 1865. The text begins with the events preceding the outbreak of war at Fort Sumter, continues through the surrender at Appomattox, and concludes with the assassination and funeral of Abraham Lincoln. Included are descriptive news articles, eye-witness accounts and official reports of battles and events, editorials, advertisements and biographies. A great effort has been made also to include articles which describe other than military concerns of the day.
