AARP is a nonprofit, nonpartisan membership organization for people age 50 and over. AARP is dedicated to enhancing quality of life for all as we age.

ABA Commission on Law and Aging wants to change the lives of the elderly through research, education and advocacy.

Provides Elder Abuse Resources - From the Department of Health and Human Services Administration on Aging.

An advocacy group with interest in problems of health care, housing, ageism, discrimination, environment, and military spending. Social and economic justice is sought for all age groups. Members testify before legislative bodies, at utility board hearings, and other forums. They take part in demonstrations, in order to bring certain problems before the public and into the media.

The International Network for the Prevention of Elder Abuse aims to increase society's ability, through international collaboration, to recognize and respond to the mistreatment of older people in whatever setting it occurs, so that the latter years of life will be free from abuse, neglect and exploitation.

The National Adult Protective Services Association (NAPSA) is a national non-profit organization with members in all fifty states, including the District of Columbia and Guam. It was formed in 1989 to provide state Adult Protective Services (APS) program administrators and staff with a forum for sharing information, solving problems, and improving the quality of services for victims of elder and vulnerable adult abuse.

NABI has members in law enforcement and related fields devoted to exposing exploitation and safeguarding our seniors.

GCM is a non-profit, professional organization of practitioners whose goal is the advancement of dignified care for the elderly and their families.

Provides visibility and advocacy for RSVP and older Americans to Congress, the Administration, and other governmental and national units. Their agenda includes professional development of RSVP Directors; resource development; advocacy for older Americans; communication on issues and ideas relevant to RSVP, and representation and management through the development of surveys and databases.

A grass-roots education and advocacy organization. Its mission is to keep its members informed on issues involving Social Security, Medicare and related issues, as well as to represent the membership with "one voice," as the National Committee speaks to the Congress and the Administration.

Provides technical assistance, research, litigation support, and administrative and legislative advocacy services.

The only national grassroots membership organization to focus exclusively on women as they age.

Oversees National Clearinghouse on Abuse in Later Life including administrative functions; liaison for national elder abuse, domestic violence, sexual assault and aging networks; oversees and provides national technical assistance, training, program development and support regarding abuse in later life.

NCALL's mission is to eliminate abuse in later life by challenging beliefs, policies, practices and systems that allow abuse to occur and continue and to improve safety, services and support to victims through advocacy and education.
