Sgt. 1st Class Madril Smith, an intelligence analyst from the Deputy Command of Support Operations, NATO Training Mission Afghanistan runs at a steady pace in the Oct. 7, 2012, Camp Eggers, Afghanistan, Army Ten-Miler shadow run. Smith originally deployed from Fort Hood's 13th Expeditionary Sustainment Command and is on his eleventh month of his yearlong deployment to Afghanistan.
