Since 2001, the U.S. Army All-American Bowl has showcased the nation's premier high school football talent. The level of play in these games has demanded the absolute highest levels of mental, emotional and physical strengths for those participating. The expansive and continually growing list of prominent alumni featured in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl's history stands as proof of this strength and the extraordinary level of competition. Some of the most notable All-American alumni include: Adrian Peterson, Mark Sanchez, Tim Tebow, 2012 #1 NFL Draft Pick Andrew Luck, Marcus Lattimore and Robert Woods among many more.
As of the start of NFL training camps, there are more than 200 U.S. Army All-American Bowl alumni on NFL rosters. During the 2012 NFL Draft, 22 U.S. Army All-Americans were selected, including six first round selections. An incredible total of 51 U.S. Army All-Americans have been selected in the past two NFL Drafts. More and more U.S. Army All-Americans enter the NFL each season as the Army All-American Bowl continues to produce some of the game’s brightest stars on its biggest stage.

Grandview High School | MO
- Freeman started for three years at Grandview and holds the career records for passing yardage, touchdowns, attempts and completions. As a senior, Freeman led his team to a playoff berth, earned a spot on the All-State team, and was named the most outstanding high school football player in the Kansas City area.
College: Kansas State University
- Freeman quickly acclimated to the college game, starting the final eight games as a true freshman and winning Freshman All-American honors. Freeman started all 24 games the next two years and rewrote the Kansas State record book, departing as the school’s leader in passing yards, completions, passing touchdowns, pass completion percentage, and total offense.
NFL: Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Selected in the 2009 NFL Draft, 1st Round, 17th Overall
- As he did in college, Freeman took over starting quarterback duties halfway through his first year, starting the final nine games of the 2009 season. Though his numbers weren’t great, they provided Freeman with the experience needed to make huge strides in 2010. Last season, Freeman excelled, passing for 3,451 yards and picking up 364 yards with his legs. He had an exceptional 25-to-6 touchdown-to-interception ratio. This earned Freeman his first Pro Bowl nod. The football world is starting to take notice as he heads into his second full year of starting.
