SEARCH AND RESCUE EXERCISE
U.S. Air Force airmen from the 18th Wing are brought aboard a HH-60 Pave Hawk helicopter from the 33rd Rescue Squadron during an exercise held off the shores of Okinawa, Japan, Aug. 29, 2006. The exercise partnered seven Air Force squadrons in land, sea and air training operations involving search and rescue, mass casualty field triage, medical patient loading and transport.

BOARDING A GLOBEMASTER
U.S. Army paratroopers with the 35th Signal Battalion, board a C-17 Globemaster III aircraft at Fort Bragg, N.C., Aug. 21, 2006. The paratroopers conducted an airdrop as part of Joint Forcible Entry Exercise, an Army and Air Force training exercise designed to validate combat readiness of leadership, planning staff, aircrews and ground forces through integrated scenario-based training operations.

TRUMPET SOLO
U.S. Navy Petty Officer 1st Class Brian Grondell plays a trumpet solo during a performance at Undana University in Kupang, Indonesia, Aug. 22, 2006. WEAPON REGISTRATION
