Reporting instructions for new members of the 52nd Airlift Squadron:

Contact the 52nd AS prior to arrival at DSN 834-7173 or commercial at (719) 556-7173. 

LOCATION:
52nd Airlift Squadron headquarters is located in Bldg. 890A, the 52nd Airlift Squadron operations flight is located in Bldg. 890 and the 52nd Airlift Squadron maintenance flight is located in Bldg. 210. 

INPROCESSING:
Base in processing is completed through the 21st Space Wing's Force Support Squadron 7 a.m. - 4 p.m. Mondays through Fridays in Bldg. 350.

LODGING:
The Pikes Peak Lodging Office is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week in Bldg. 1042. Customer service representatives are always on duty to assist you. Check-in time is 2 p.m. or earlier based upon room availability. Check-out time is 11 a.m. All room keys must be returned after use and checking out. If extenuating circumstances require a late check-out, contact the lodging front desk. Late check-outs may be assessed an additional night's fee.

Aragon Dining Facility, the base's dining facility for enlisted members, can be reached at (719) 556-4180. Hours of operations are: 

Mondays-Fridays
Breakfast: 5:30-8 a.m.
Lunch: 11 a.m.-1 p.m.
Dinner: 4-6 p.m. 

Saturdays-Sundays
Brunch: 6-10 a.m.
Dinner: 11 a.m.-5:30 p.m.

RELIGIOUS SERVICES: 
The chapel is one block west from Pikes Peak Lodging. For more information, call the Chapel Office at (719) 556-4442.

MEDICAL CARE:
The clinic at Peterson is under the TRICARE Program. The clinic provides routine outpatient medical care, dental work, procurement of eyeglasses, prescription changes and other specialized medical services can be arranged after you process into Peterson. Emergency care is offered at Evans Army Hospital at nearby Fort Carson or at local civilian hospital emergency rooms.

WEAPONS REGISTRATION:
Weapons registration is handled by the security police armory, located in Bldg. 1376. All people living in the base enlisted dormitories, visiting officers and enlisted quarters or temporary lodging facilities are required to register and store privately owned weapons (guns, archery,etc.) at the armory in Bldg. 1376 as soon as they arrive on station. Weapons may be temporarily checked out but must be returned for storage within 72 hours. People may only transport privately owned weapons on to Peterson when driving directly to and from the Rod and Gun Club, security police armory for storage or their residence in base family housing. People must notify the entry controller that they have a privately-owned weapon and where they intend on transporting it. Privately-owned weapons must be unloaded and in the trunk of the vehicle.

Identification Cards
ID card are issued at the Military Personnel Flight customer service center in Bldg. 350. The customer service office is open from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
