Welcome!
This Requirements Management Community of Practice (RMCoP) is DoD’s central repository for information related to DoD and Service capability identification and requirements development. The RMCoP provides you with 24/7 access to unclassified resources such as learning materials, links, policies, and news.
What's New on the RMCoP?
1 Nov 2016: We just added five USAF requirements-related handbooks that you may find useful on your job: CBA, AoA, High Perfomrance Team (HPT), Measures, and Survey Research. Our thanks to the USAF Office of Aerospace Studies (OAS)! Click here & search the list...:
What is a DoD Requirements Manager (RM)? A DoD RM is a military member or DoD civilian charged with developing, assessing, validating, and prioritizing capability requirements and associated requirements-related products and documents. Additionally, the RM advocates for the Warfighter within DoD’s three decision support systems: the Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS), the Defense Acquisition System (DAS), and the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) system. To help keep this RMCoP current and useful to all, please consider joining and submitting requirements-related information and documents. Also, if you have any comments concerning the RMCoP or its structure, please contact the editor, Jack Mohney, Professor of Requirements Management, at jack.mohney@dau.mil.
Finally, should you have any requirements-related questions, please contact us at RMCT@dau.mil
