A musical career in the United States Air Force Bands can be challenging and extremely rewarding. At any given time you may find yourself onstage in your home town, inspiring young musicians to pursue their dreams, playing for a presidential arrival, entertaining foreign royalty and dignitaries on national television or playing at major sporting events. There is a wide diversity of musicians within the Air Force bands ranging from those who have just graduated high school to individuals holding advanced degrees in music. If you strive for excellence and believe in serving your country, the Air Force Band career is right for you! While the USAFE Band assignment is only available to members who have one year of state-side band service, we will gladly answer questions about the audition process and put you in contact with an auditions representative from a state-side band.
