A few isolated severe storms are possible ahead of a cold front on Saturday in east Texas and northern/western Louisiana. This is the same storm system that brought damaging winds and a few tornado reports to northwest Texas on Friday.

The chance of isolated to scattered severe storms will continue on Sunday from central and eastern Kentucky southwestward to the Tennessee Valley, lower-Mississippi Valley and southeastern Texas. Localized damaging wind gusts are the main concern, though there is a low chance of a tornado.

Monday, the threat of severe storms will continue from parts of the Southeast to as far north as southeast Ohio and southwest West Virginia.
