COAST GUARD PLAYS SMUGGLER FOR NAVY BOARDING

SEATTLE - Members of a boarding team from the Navy vessel USS Ingraham (FFG-61),
home ported in Everett, Wash., came aboard the
Coast Guard Cutter Alert, home ported in Astoria, Ore., to search for
weapons and other contraband during a drill Wednesday. Ten members
of the Alert's crew were hidden aboard the vessel playing the role
of smugglers as part of the Trident Fury exercise on the waters west
of Vancouver Island, B.C. Trident Fury is a joint training exercise
developed by Canada's Joint Task Force (Pacific) Headquarters for
the purpose of building a strong working relationship between the
