Concepts: Refers
to those issues related to the Judge Advocate General’s Corps’ (JAGC) conversion
to the Modular Force and its transition to subsequent future force designs as
well as all other issues across the DOTMLPF spectrum designed to ensure the JAGC
will continue to deliver doctrinally correct world-class legal support to the
Army and the Joint Community in the
future.
Future Concepts Directorate:
The Future Concepts Directorate serves as the focal point for
initiatives designed to improve the JAGC of the future. The Directorate is
responsible for:

Serving as the JAGC proponent for issues related to the transformation to the
modular force.
·
Writing, reviewing, staffing and publishing JAGC doctrine, and serving as the
central repository for all doctrinal matters related to the JAGC.
·
Maintaining a close working relationship with other branch proponents, sister
services, and doctrine agencies throughout the Army/Joint community.
·
Examining lessons learned across all phases of military operations and
integrating those lessons and concepts into JAGC/Army/Joint doctrine and
force
structure.
Working
closely with the Center for Law and Military Operations, Combat Developments
Directorate, and Training Developments Directorate on key doctrine, force
structure, and training issues to ensure world-class legal support to the
Army.
