DoDLive Bloggers Roundtable: The History of the U.S. Seventh Fleet

On Thursday, September 27, we hosted a DoDLive Bloggers Roundtable with eminent naval historian, Dr. Edward J. Marolda, who discussed the Naval History and Heritage Command released “Ready Seapower: A History of the U.S. Seventh Fleet,” which he authored.

The book examines the U.S. 7th Fleet’s service in the Asia-Pacific region during the 20th and 21st centuries from World War II to current conflicts and frames the pivot to the Pacific.

Also joining us on the call were Andrew Lubin, of Leatherneck Magazine; and Thomas Goering, of Navy Cyberspace.

Listen to the audio.
