The window of opportunity to submit nominations for the fourth annual “Building Stronger Female Physician Leaders in the Military Health System” awards program closes on Sept. 7.  The award recognizes female doctors within the military community.

In addition to active duty and reserve women doctors from all service branches, those serving in the Public Health Service Commissioned Corps are eligible to be nominated. 

Applications must be received by the respective service points of contact by Sept. 7, 2012.  The services will collect all nominations and vet them through their chains of command before forwarding to the MHS Chief Human Capital Office (CHCO).  Each service may advance up to five junior and three senior packages to Rebecca Russell, the award point of contact for CHCO.
