Education is the key to understanding your TRICARE benefits. Without this understanding, very stressful problems can occur resulting in expensive
out-of-pocket costs for service member and their family. Each unit must ensure their assigned service members and their families are trained and
know who to contact for TRICARE needs. There are many types of briefings:
- One-hour annual briefing
- Briefings for specific groups or events
- Mobilization/Demobilization briefings
- Yellow Ribbon compliance briefings
Please use the following process to schedule a briefing.
Briefings for Guard/Reserve Units (service members and their families):
All briefing requests should be submitted at least two weeks in advance of the desired briefing date, however, every attempt will be made to fulfill
all requests. Fill out the briefing request form and a representative should
contact you shortly.
