Upon completion of “Boot Camp” these sailors are taught the basics of teamwork and attention to detail that will prepare them for service aboard ships, squadrons and naval stations around the world. Most sailors will continue their training at various “A” schools where they will acquire a specialty or rating specific to the field they have chosen to work in.
