Description: The Hetra Secure Solutions Model HT-5912-T1-CS is a mainstream, Cisco Switch Cluster-ready 100base-FX modular switch based on the Catalyst 2912MF XL series switch. Advanced architecture incorporates a switching fabric of 3.2 Gbps and a forwarding rate of three million packets per second to deliver wire-speed performance across all 100base-FX ports. Cisco Switch Clustering technology allows you to create a managed network with a single IP address, containing up to 16 Catalyst switches. Convenient and powerful management software enhances ease of use allowing the administrator to manage the switch via a Web-based interface, Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP), or the same CLI used for Cisco routers. VLAN trunks allow data to be forwarded only to stations within a specific VLAN group, improving network security and performance. The base unit has 12 100base-FX SC ports, 2 slots for optional 2 or 4 port expansion modules, and an auto-sensing 170W power supply.
